JOHN BEVINGTON

John is President and CEO of Bevco Precision Manufacturing Company of Milwaukee, WI. He lives in Suttons Bay and is a Rotarian and a fan of Bay Books in Suttons Bay. John joined Peninsula Housing's Board because "they are making a difference in Leelanau County TODAY!"

Meg Delor

Meg is Michigan native who has spent her career in non-profit, mainly development. She is the Development Director for Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities. Meg believes affordable housing is vital for strong, sustainable communities.

JIM DYER

Jim Dyer is the Village Manager, and Zoning Administrator, for the Village of Northport. A central focus as Northport Manager is the development of attainable housing within Leelanau County and creating municipal polices that will facilitate its growth. Prior to appointment as Northport Manager in October 2023, Jim served for seven years as the Calhoun County Corporation Counsel. He is also an attorney, licensed in Michigan since 1980. Jim and his wife Jeanette live in Suttons Bay.

Larry Mawby

Larry is a retired winegrower who has spent the past 50 years living in Leelanau and working in the community to implement more sustainable ways of living here. Larry started his latest project, Peninsula Housing, in 2021 with the goal of creating housing that is affordable and will remain affordable in the future.

Sara Michael

Sara lives in Lake Leelanau and returned to Michigan after earning her Master of Public Administration in Boston. For the past twelve years, Sara has worked at the Leelanau Conservancy in the Fund Development department. She hopes to use her nonprofit administration acumen to help make more affordable housing available. Sara believes our cities, towns, and villages are stronger when every member of our community can live in a good home they can afford.
